Healing is a non-linear process that requires space, patience and understanding. Overwhelming life experiences which can be traumatic can emerge as a myriad of manifestations physically, emotionally and energetically.

Orameh utilizes multiple somatic modalities and is trained in Somatic Experiencing and Somatic Touch Practice. Orameh has been supporting people with a wide range of experiences in 1:1 and group setting since 2011. Their lived experience of a multitude of trauma makes her passionate to support individuals and collective to the best of her capacity. Orameh specifically loves to work with folks who experience oppression, chronic illness, intergenerational, substance abuse, sexual, developmental, and collective trauma through a multidisciplinary approach. Additionally, Orameh has completed the Eye of The Needle training with Peter Levine that integrates experiences involving near death and/or altered states. Orameh is currently deepening her studies in a PHD program in Psychology.

Orameh holds each persons unique experience with reverence and understands that there is a collective aspect to a felt sense of wholeness. They offer a deep bow of appreciation for the contributions to the field of somatics of Resmaa Menakem along with their teachers Peter Levine, Berns Galloway and Kathy Kain.

Orameh is a lead assistant in the SEI trainings and can currently provide Advanced Year personal sessions and sign off for requirements for those enrolled. If you are an SE student and would like to schedule personal sessions, please send an email.

  • As a survivor of childhood trauma, domestic abuse, and sexual assault I have spent most of my life feeling unsafe in my body. Not only feeling unsafe, but also feeling unsure of how to differentiate intuition from fear. I also spent many years numbing through substances before entering recovery.   • Root to Flower sessions provide a safe container to feel through and reflect on experiences/emotions by slowing down, centering, grounding, and then forging connections. ….
