This life is a precious gift. With all that it entails, Orameh facilitates practices, support spaces and processes which honor each being who choose to collaborate with her. Their aim is to hold space with a great respect for the human experience, personally and collectively, and transmits teachings received from their teachers of many forms and digested through training, practice and life experience.
Orameh’s practice is rooted in the understanding that the potential of compassionate and empowered living to cultivate a richer understanding and connection to life is possible for all human beings.
Orameh’s approach is direct and compassionate with a down to earth sacredness and with the understanding that the interconnected nature of life means to uplift all sentient beings towards a more peaceful, joyful and liberated sense of being. Her offerings support one to one facilitation, groups and special topics creatively woven from the heart.
As a visual artist, artivist and trauma informed E-RYT 500 Yoga Educator and practitioner , Orameh has facilitated Yoga classes, workshops and retreats for a wide number of people across the lifespan for since 2011 in Los Angles and internationally. Her teachers have shifted over the years and are primarily rooted in Hatha, Tantra and Buddhist Yoga in addition to modern trauma-informed practices. They are an experienced Yoga educator who has facilitated over 18,000 hours of in person classes, workshops, retreats and one on one sessions. Their love and devotion to systems of Yoga stems in the fruits and gifts it has offered in their own life, and they love to share these gifts to be of benefit to all beings.
Orameh is a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP)since 2017 & Somatic Touch Practitioner, lead assistant in the Somatic Experiencing Institute trainings since 2019, providing one on one sessions in person and online to support folks who have experienced overwhelming experiences in life which are emotional, physical and/or cultural in nature, impeding a felt sense of belonging, safety, connection, joy, peace and ease in life.
Orameh is a Certified Sowa Rigpa Practitioner (Tibetan medicine) who has studied with their root teacher Dr. Nida Chenagtsang. As an avid lover of plants, the elemental worlds, living creatures and all types of edges Orameh spends their time traversing these realms with joy and wonder.
With a formal background in art, art activism, public art and creative realms since 1995, all of Orameh’s offerings are woven from the heart intuitively and centered in the trust that each person has the capacity within themselves to reveal their inherent wholeness and wisdom.
As a first-generation multi-ethnic Iranian person, they are deeply committed to care, relating, belonging, equity, reciprocity and supporting the process for all beings to lead soulful, authentic lives that care for the world we are a part of. Orameh is currently engaged in PHD studies in Psychology.
